Book Signing with Decorah Author Jerry Johnson

Date:
Saturday, December 6, 2014 - 2:00pm
Location:

Join us at Dragonfly Books for coffee, casual conversation, and a book signing with local Decorah author Jerry Johnson and his new book Crazy Old Coot on Saturday, December 6 at 2:00 - 3:30 pm. You’ll have the chance to sip a hot cup of coffee, enjoy some sweet treats, and chat with Jerry about his new book.

A long time Decorah resident, Jerry Johnson is the author of the two novels Hunting Birds: The Lives and Legends of the Pine County Rod, Gun, Dog and Social Club and Scrawny Dog, Hungry Cat, and Fat Rat: A Tragedy for Children. Now retired, he is a former newspaper reporter, photographer, editor, columnist and college public relations director.

In Crazy Old Coot, Jerry celebrates life as an outdoorsman in a collection of stories and essays. Hilarious, insightful, and educational, Crazy Old Coot captures the sights, sounds, smells, and feel of the great outdoors -- a dog at your feet and a gun over your shoulder.

Come celebrate with Jerry Johnson at Dragonfly Books on Saturday, December 6th at 2:00 - 3:30 pm.

This event is sponsored by Dragonfly Books at 112 W. Water St., Decorah, and is free and open to the public. If you find that you can't make it to the event but would still like to purchase any of Jerry’s books, just give Dragonfly Books a call at 563-382-4275. One of our staff will be glad to reserve a book and have it autographed for you.
