Jenna Hartz: THE GUARDIANS OF MIDDLE SCHOOL
Dragonfly Books is thrilled to host local Decorah author Jenna Hartz with her new book The Guardians of Middle School. Everyone is invited to learn more about one of Decorah’s young authors and her experiences writing her first novel. Jenna and several young ladies featured in The Guardians of Middle School will share stories and sign books on Monday, November 28th at 7:00 pm at Dragonfly Books.
School will never be the same in The Guardians of Middle School. When 5th grader, Jenna and her friends discover elemental powers, they don’t know who to trust or turn to for help. Their teacher grows suspicious and finds out about them. Will she turn them in? Does she have a secret of her own? Featuring the people and places of Decorah, The Guardians of Middle School will thrill readers of all ages.
Jenna Hartz is a 12 year old student at St. Benedict’s Catholic School in Decorah, IA. She was inspired to write The Guardians of Middle School by her 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Galligan. Jenna lives in Decorah with her parents, two amazing dogs, and two older brothers, who were all very supportive while writing the book. The Guardians of Middle School is Jenna’s first book.
