Nickolas Butler: LITTLE FAITH
This event was originally scheduled for Thursday, April 11th, but had to be postponed due to weather.
Award-winning Wisconsin author Nickolas Butler joins Dragonfly Books for an author talk featuring his new book Little Faith. In this moving novel, a Wisconsin family grapples with the power and limitations of faith when one of their own falls under the influence of a radical church. Everyone is invited to this free event to hear from Butler and learn more about Little Faith on Thursday, May 9th at 7:00 PM at Dragonfly Books.
Set over the course of one year and beautifully evoking the change of seasons, Little Faith is a powerful and deeply affecting intergenerational novel about family and community, the ways in which belief is both formed and shaken, and the lengths we go to protect our own.
Nickolas Butler was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, raised in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and educated at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Iowa Writer’s Workshop. In addition to Little Faith, Butler is the author of the internationally-bestselling and prize-winning novel Shotgun Lovesongs, the collection of short stories Beneath the Bonfire, and the novel Hearts of Men. He lives with his wife and two children on sixteen acres of land adjacent to a buffalo farm in rural Wisconsin.
