Reading Games
For Decorah Middle School (formerly Battle of the Books):
Each year the gamemakers provide a reading list of 20 books for each division. Interested students are placed on teams of 4-6 members and assigned a coach. Teams will meet once a month or more; deciding which books will be assigned to each student, discussing the books they have read, and making sure that everyone is staying on target. Students may also develop study aids and write questions to submit for the final contest.
Dragonfly Books in-store customers receive a 20% discount on these titles.
